Leaking gas at intake manifold; flooding

I have a 2005 yamaha 8hp two stroke. I am having issues with it flooding, and leaking gas where it connects to the intake manifold. I have checked the needle and seat and it looks fine.

I am also suspecting the pulse port is also sucking fuel because of it. This causes the hard starting.

It seems simple but can't figure it out. Any suggestions would be great.

I would check the fuel pump if the pulse port is getting fuel

I just rebuilt the pump. I was thinking the o ring on the bowl was bad letting fuel into the pulse port.
