Dry it out and gluvit will fix all those problems. You will be able to use it in the front gap too. Those seeps are minor and easily fixed. You can apply the gluvit and do one side of the hull at a time. tilt the hull so the gluvit creeps into the seams then, the following day do the other side.

I have a coat of non skid paint on the entire bottom and up the inside of the hull.

Should I wire brush along all of the ribs and seams to bare metal or just toss the Gluvit right on top of the non skid?

Ayuh,.... Wire brush only where it's leakin', preferably with a SSteel wire brush, 'n put the gluvit there,...
Or along All the seams, if that's what yer thinkin',...

Then repaint to match,...

Tony,

I want to be clear in that Gluvit is a proven solution and you have some experienced people in Bob and Bondo making recommendations.

My 2 cents are you may want to take a look see at Gflex. You cant get it right here at Iboats.

My alum. rehab was heading for gluvit but as I looked at Gflex in depth decided to use it. I was very impressed with effectiveness and ease of application let alone cost effective.

My recommendation is based on your bottom of hull is clean (no paint) and looks like your boat is stripped so relatively easy to flip. If that is the case maybe Gflex is for you.

You can see my application if of interest in my thread below.

Caveat: I am flipping boat back upright next day or so and doing another leak test so proof will be in future. I am sold on Gflex though.

Good luck.

thanks Streetgang, I got the Gluvit already in the garage just waiting for me to break it out... was a birthday gift, so Ill go with that. I have seen Gflex demos as well and was intrigued to say the least.

Since I am in no real rush, I think I am going to it the rivets and seams up and down the boat, give it another TSP bath and slap down the Gluvit, then start painting... so, maybe by next summer ill have her on the water.
