I rebuilt my top carb over the weekend, now the brass plugs on the carb is leaking. Anything to to seal the threads and/or the plugs themselves?. Thanks.

If it is the 7/16" hex head brass plug in the front bottom of the carb, covering the high speed jet, it should have a gasket on it.

I think its the plug on the very bottom of carb. It has a standard screwdriver head on it. There was no gasket for this plug in the rebuild kit.

Remove the plug and coat the threads with some Permatex hi-temp automotive silicone seal (red or orange). I also cover the push plugs with it. Let it dry for a day before putting gas to the carbs.

-W
