I left here once back on March 13 of 2018 due to a medical problem that I found later could be corrected (and was) so I came back.

However, although I feel like I'm somewhere between 38 & 43 years of age, I'm well aware that I'm 2 years & 9 months short of being 90, and as such, retiring in 1991... the engines I'm mostly educated in are now more or less just a fading memory of which I've posted everything I know many times over that will show up on a well worded search I'm sure.

So, while I still have most of my faculties, I think it best that I leave now rather than to chance a few years later to re-visit places in the far west that I remember... and long to spend some time once more. I will have fond memories of the years I've spend here I'm sure, and I will not forget the unseen friends I've accumulated. I may stop in from time to time to say hello. As the saying goes that I've heard on TV a few times..... "It's been one hellava ride!"

Say it ain't so, Joe. :blue:

I understand your decision and can only thank you for all the help you've given over the years. Plenty of oldies are still making wakes in the water due to your advice.

Enjoy your second retirement and drop in every once in a while. Wish we had a gold watch for you!

Again, thanks for all your help along the way.

Thank-you, Joe for your spot-on advice and wisdom shared over the years. You will be missed around here, so please drop by once in a while, if nothing else, just to say hello. You are a good
man! Stay young!

You aren't going anywhere young man. Just like in the worse sequel ever filmed, The Godfather 3, Michael Corleone said, "You think you're out and they pull you back in."

That's a very nice sentiment tblshur . Make it happen, you will thank yourself you did latter on in life at a time that it's too late for you or Joe. Regrets weigh heavier and heavier as we age.

I've read a lot of your posts. Sorry to see you ride off into the sunset. You could always stay. I just bought a few more OMC outboards from the 50's. Most all need work and I need advice. Just sayin'.
