I have about 6 spreaders mounted underneath the rails on the aft deck. I do not know brand or anything, but I took them apart to try to determine the bulb type. It appears to be similar to the H3 Halogen 12V from Hella Marine. I could not pull the bulb out from the metal mounting bracket and it looks like it is soldered through the mounting bracket. Is there a replacement option for the halogen to go with an energy efficient LED? I attached a few pictures and a link to the halogen replacement. In the blurry picture I tried to capture the soldered connection.

Its unlikely that you are going to find an LED bulb that would be a mechanical replacement for what you have. There are strips of LEDs that run on 12v that you could mount.something like this,

they use a LOT less power.
Do a google on LED marine strip light and you will see lots of things.

I did a little bit of research. The bulb itself uses a PK22S base, which after performing a google search there are multiple options available using PK22S LED. I need to take the measurements to make sure the bulb will fit length wise. Will update following replacement.

Good research!

From what I've seen, there's an LED replacement out there for just about any bulb in existence.
