I am looking for a LED alternative to my incandescent navigation lights. On my bow I have a 31MM festoon 8 watt bulb behind a multi-color lens. In the rear I have a 906 bulb behind a clear lens. Does anone know of some good replacement LED bulbs to use in their place? I ordered some online but after installing, was not pleased. I need a 360 degree front bulb, and a rear bulb bright enough to see from a distance! Help!

No, I bought them elsewhere. I didn't see the right bulbs for my application on iboats. Got a link or a part #? I'm getting a headache from trying to locate these 2 bulbs. I thought it would be easy...

I have bought both bulbs that you need from ebay relatively cheap.

I can't seem to find a good 360 degree 31mm LED festoon bulb, or a really bright LED bulb that will fit in a 906 bulb's base. Anyone got a direct link to either of these bulbs?

On a side note.

Led's will appear diminished compared to a regular incandescent bulb. This has to do with the very specific wavelengths of light they give off.

A green LED should be used with a green lens, and red/red.

Here is an excellent place to get different types of LEDs too. They have lots of different systems along with some pictures of different installations. Also great people to deal with. No affiliation here just a customer.
