Left or Right Hand Prop Single Engine

I hear single engine craft use right handed props. Why is that? I ordered a new 14x21 Right for a volvo penta and received a 14x21 Left. I know changing the rotation on the older volvos is a breeze. But should I return it for a Right handed prop or just change the rotation of the drive and use the Left one?

Right hand is considered standard and size availability and price is better in a right hand prop.
As far as lefthand handling any torque steer or handling issues are the same but reversed.
