Leftover nautolex scraps?

I'm nearly done with the floor project. I was thinking the next thing to do is get rid of the old carpet on the gunwale tops. I think replacing that with nautolex rather than matching the floor paint would be ideal. That way I don't need to worry so much about filling up all the old holes and such.

Figured I'd ask here if anyone has some 7" or bigger strips of nautolex left over from a flooring project rather than go out and buy it new by the yard.

Never hurts to ask around.

I googled it, many people do not like to use it anymore because it seems to rot now. People just paint it now...but if you halready have it, then I can understand why you wouls still want it. Good Luck!

Saskatoon, I don't know where you got that information but the floor above replaced a Nautolex floor that lasted over 30 years. Many of those years were in the Southern California sun and smog. The only reason it needed replacing is because the floor underneath it had rotted out, from the bottom up. Otherwise it was still in servicable condition, albiet, a bit out of date and faded, colorwise.

By all indications, the new material was no different than the original.
