Lady Jayn,s Topic made me think about this. <br /><br />Did you know in the U.S. that to keep Bonita "legally" even as bait, you must have an Atlantic Pelagic Tuna Permit? <br /><br />They are also Known as Little Tunny.<br /><br />Go Figure.....Not always enforced but it is Law.

Don't think so. Go here. I googled the permit and it appears that the Bonita falls under HMS (Highly Migratory Species) and recreational fishermen may take them without a permit, in the Atlantic, anyway.
