It's been awhile, but back when I skiied we used a 75' towline. The kneeboard was shorter- about 40-50' as I recall. Hope that helps.

75 general skiing, 100 barefooting, and with wakeboarding or knee boarding, shorten the rope to a nice spot on the wake where its large and just narrow enough to clear wake to wake.

We use 75 ft for general skiing, 60ft for tubing.

I agree with the above about a sectioned rope that way you can adjust to suit your needs. 75' used to be the standard but anymore shorter is more common. I am a hardcore slalom skier and like about a 50' the response is much better and you don't slack up nearly as much when turning. Sometimes for a tube longer is a bit better to whip riders around if they so desire. Get a sectioned rope and try different lengths until you find one that best suits your needs but keep the sectiones in the boat so you can change out on the water if need be. Unless you are real aggresive you don't need the 80-100 dollar accurate(brand) just get a decent middle of the road sectioned line and you will be fine.

They have always had the sections, they are for taking off sections for the slalom course. However, if you don't have a sectional rope, just tie a nice loop in it where you want to shorten it to. It's just a rope.

Friends don't let friends wakeboard or kneeboard 75 feet behind the boat!

Yeah I went and bought a new tubing rope this week and they have 60' for tubes and 75' for skiing here in Nebraska.

I'm definitly getting the itch...got the boat back from the shop yeterday and it's supposed to be nice next week...can't wait!!!!
