Length of trolling motor shaft needed for 2001 20' coral viper fish n ski boat

I'm putting a new trolling motor on this boat. A motorguide 80lb thrust wireless GPS pinpoint. But I can only get it here in 60"
I'm worried this will be way to long. That it will still up in the air and affect the fishing. Does someone have a boat like this if so what size do you have. It's winter here do I am unable to put it into the water to measure

You will be fine with a 60 inch shaft, That is as short as I would want to go on a boat that size,..

I don't miss the old days of the trolling motor coming out pf the water,...

Are you going to network the xi-5 with a gen 2 or gen 3 Lowrance?
