my buddy has the same 1987 125 force i do he called me over to look at his it had a bad sounding knock in it we did a compression test everything was good there i asked him when it started happening he said after cleaning the carbs and tank he then put new gas in and a can of sea foam then just shortly after that the knocked appeard so i was a little confused and after a few minutes of thinking about it i asked how much gas was in it he said about 6ltrs i figured we would put some more gas in and see if maybe there was too much sea foam we put 60 more ltrs in it and started the motor for a few seconds it sputtered and had a slight knock but then just like that the motor smoothed out knock went away and she purrrrrrred again now runs smooth i guess this is a leason learned the question is has anyone had this happen to them. just wondering

Yup Seafoam. Will dilute the oil.It wipes ALL the protective oil in the cylinders.
Hope he didn't score the cylinders.
