Re: LF Torque Specs Nissan NS5B

The sequence and values are in the factory service manual, available at any dealer, including me. Since the service manuals are copyrighted, we can't post details on the web.

Wow. Thanks for helping a guy out. If one of your customers spent 300 bucks in parts would you try and jam them for a 35 dollar service manual? I make parts and assemblies - everyday - for stuff more complicated than you'll ever have the privilege of working on. I don't need a service manual to figure out how to get things back together after a water pump job, or change a seal, or rebuild a simple (but better designed than anything OMC) carb. Just wanted some specific service information which is usually readily available - maybe if you were a bit less protective of your so-called 'trade' you'd be a bit more willing to help out. No worries tho. I got what I needed, from a borrowed NT service manual, from someone a bit more helpful than yourself.

Prime example of what is wrong in the world....The rant of someone who thinks they are entitled to what they ask for without paying for it.

Your ignorance is superceded only by your arrogance. Whether I choose to sell anything to anyone, and at what price, or for that matter, whether I choose to give something away at no charge, is uniquely my privilege.

You asked for help diagnosing a problem (for free), and as many others do on this board, I assisted you (for free). In another post, you then asked for technical information, and I explained (for free) where it was located... and one way to get it in your hands. You selected another way to get the data. Cool, since you then knew where it was. You could also have called a dealer on the phone, or dropped by your local library to borrow a copy of the manual... and there are yet other ways to get a legitimate copy of the manual.

My credentials are not on trial here, and you have no knowledge of them. You, on the other hand, did indeed need assistance, and received it (again for free). It's clear that since I don't condone a Napster-esque breaking of the law that you are disappointed. Based on your debasing statements about our so-called trade, I suspect that you are one of those so-called individuals who feels he can choose to obey or disobey any law if it suits his desires. Perhaps your so-called trade approves of copyright infringement or other theft. To each his own.
