If you keep the boat covered I would think it would last a LONG time.

It definetly lasts a very long time. I had PT 2x6s boardering an old garden in my yard. They were on the ground and covered in vegitation, keeping them damp. I pulled them up to relocate the garden after about 15 years and only 1 has any rot. They are warped a bit, but actually still good enough to use for structural lumber.

So I guess it should last at least 10 years

Thompsons is a completely and udderly worthless product. Basically colored wax. It's a waste of time and effort.

This is a boat floor that is sealed from natural elements that would otherwise tend to leach the pt away? If so it will last longer than your youngest child's children. The only thing that can or might happen is the wood can get waterlogged and get heavy...or it may delaminate in small areas...and that is highly unlikely. My 1996 pontoon boat has a pt deck and it's not coated on the underside with anything. It's fully exposed to the water but not the sun. The top only has carpet glued down. It still looks perfect except for the "weathered" look. Relax and don't worry about pt ply...99% of the negatives you hear about it are unfounded hype.
