Haven't done this pretty straight forward procedure in a while .I am always concerned when it comes to a small fitting and a small wrench. What are we using to back off the fitting under the drive housing?Mine has been on for a long time.Small brake line wrench?? Soaked in PT blaster for a few days.A little heat first?? Charlie

I use a set of tubing wrenches

Is that the same as a line wrench? That's what I use. Cautionary note- The 'long' hoses have a very short line where they screw into the manifold. A cheap line wrench (like mine) is too thick to fit between the nut and the hose. I was able to use a good quality (old Craftsman) open end wrench. By holding it very firmly on the nut and tapping it a few times with a tack hammer they broke free. DON'T do it unless you have a really good fit on the nut. Otherwise, get a high quality line wrench that's thin enough to fit. The nuts are 3/8". I replaced all 4 cylinders/8 hoses this past week.

Sounds like you have the correct path, you shouldn't need the heat, or at least I hope not
