Lifting boat off of the trailer.

I was just wondering if I put some 4x4's under the boat after the boat is lifted off of the trailer if that would be OK to use, I don't want to just lay it on the ground.Or maybe get a couple of 6x6.s and cut them up to about a ft. long .There's a edge under the center of the toons that they could rest on. Any cheap ideas. Thanks

i use old tires that is off the rim to sit mine on.

I would think the marina would have something to set it on. Did you ask them? I bet they have stuff just for that.
