Lifting eye help !!

I have a 2020 115 Evinrude ETEC. Unlike all of the other older outboards I have owned it does not have a bolted on lifting hook. Instead, it uses a "lifting eye" that slides over the center flywheel shaft and has a threaded bolt with a top plate and a hook that attaches to the center thread. The ID is stepped for the two different diameters but the bolt only extends maybe 1/4" past where the larger diameter step is.

The lifting eye that I bought should fit, but only threads on 2 full turns of the allen bolt.
Surely this threaded bolt should go in a lot more??
I cannot find a single diagram/ thread length insertion guide or video on the web of anyone ever using one. It looks like everything is good except the bolt which should be an inch or so longer??

Can someone please help who actually knows and has used one??

No that is not correct....after market? It's not metric.

Look carefully.----There may be lifting lugs on the block.

Thanks. To answer the questions. It's not a G2 motor. The 1/4 " I mentioned was roughly how far it threaded into the flywheel shaft. I'm confused about the metric comment. The thread is correct, but the center bolt isn't long enough to grab more than just a little of the shaft. Yes it's aftermarket matching Evinrude's part number 0342672 / 0766523. The Evinrude OEM part is over $500. Every marine supply sells the aftermarket version that's about $120. And yes I could put a strap around it but would prefer using the correct tool. I need to mount this outboard on my boat once I've rebuilt and reinforced the transom.

Perhaps if someone also has this tool they can tell me how far the bolt extends past the shoulder on the inner diameter of the tool. I'm thinking maybe the seller just sent be the wrong tool. Also if you think I have the wrong part number, please let me know that too.

All of the listings show a side profile of the tool. No images anywhere I can find of the internal bolt length. It's all very confusing. And no video of anyone ever using one. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone!
