Lifting Strakes? (photo)

Hey all -

This is a photo of the back of a tri-toon the wife and I are picking up on Sunday. I just noticed the triangle pieces welded to the inside. They are not on the outside of the boat which is why I didn't notice them right away.

Are these lifting strakes or just part of the pontoon design?

Boat is a 2004 Suntracker 22' XP3 Tritoon.
