Lights going crazy!!

Hey guys, I need some help....this is what i got

all running lights are working.
when i hit the left turn signal, ALL lights flash. even the clearance lights and the undertail running light.
when i hit the right turn signal, only the right signal flashes as it is supposed to, so that is fine.
when i hit the brakes, all the lights brightened up, including the clearance lights and undertail light

my left clearance light on the fender just went out, but this was happening just before it quit working..........any suggestion. my trailer has a breakaway tongue but i can't remember where my ground is, if its before the break or after the break in the tongue. i'll have to double check when i get home but would that possibly be the problem??????

sound like you have a ground problem.

this has been controversial here in the trailer forum. but for the last 20 some years, i have ran and independent ground wire to all my fixtures, and directly to the ground wire on the harness plug. i have no light problems, other than the occasional bulb, burning out.

I totally agree with the above response. Since I have run ground wires to each light, I have yet to have one single lighting problem.

Had same issue (although not to that extent) was a grounding problem.
