Our family found an Evinrude outboard model #3012 with serial number 3012-08022. All the writing on the motor is very easy to read. It works great! Is this motor worth anything? The motor came with the original operating book and general instructions. Thanks!

Howdy Twin Lakes. <br /><br />Welcome to iboats. <br /><br />Model 3012 was made from 1952 to 1954.<br /><br />A really great little engine. Be sure to use a 24:1 fuel mix, rather than the 50:1 that more modern engines use.<br /><br />Yes, it is worth something, but how much depends on who is buying it.<br /><br />If I were in the market and found one like that and it passed inspection and water testing I would be bargaining in $200-$400 territory.<br /><br />Good luck.
