Statistically speaking, if there is an ignition problem, besides a plug, what is the most likely culprit, based on your experience? It's a 90HP with CDM. Please advise.

the CDM's are failure prone. I replace more of them than about anything else on that type system. however they seem to be fairly reliable.

Capacity discharge module -- provides high voltage to the spark plugs.

I find corrosion of electrical connectors and grounds, a likely cause of ignition failure with salt water use. <br />just my experience
