Limited Trim Travel

I just purchased a 2007 Sea Ray 200 Select with a 5.0/Alpha Mercrusier. The trim will function both up and down but only for a short distance from the full down position. Fluid appears to be at proper fill level. Any thoughts?

From full down the trim limit should stop at about 20 -1/2 inches of ram travel, from there trailer button raises it the rest of the way

Probably didn't make myself clear, trim travel from fully lowered is only about 3-5 inches. No ware near full up.

Then the trim limit puck needs to be loosened and rotated to allow more travel trim limit is 20 -1/2 from nut to nut,
then trailer takes over

Boat is equipped with the Mercrusier digital gauge package. Could I have simply mucked up the setting when fooling around in the "trim" area of the settings?

Boat does not have stern mounted trim switch if that matters

Should probably change my user name to landlubber. SmartCraft manual indicates where I probably messed up during calibration. Who knew you could solve an issue by reading the directions, oh yeah my wife! Thank for your help, I'm sure we will talk again.
