Those are pretty little boats, for sure. Since you'll be using it in fresh water, I assume, you don't need to worry too much about corrosion.<br /><br />As for keeping it shiny...keep it clean as a start. Wash it down after each use. If deposits don't just wash off with water, you can use any detergent you wish, with a sponge, to clean it further. If you like, you can use a good marine boat wax on it to slow down the dulling process.<br /><br />Still...with use, your shiny new boat is going to accumulate it's share of scuffs and scratches. It's inevitable. You should be able to find polishes for aluminum at any shop that sells hardware. Nothing special is needed for boats.<br /><br />As for myself...I'd rather fish than clean, so I'm sure any such shiny boat would soon be less shiny. It is possible, though, to keep it glistening with some work.
