link and sync

i have a 1982 25hp Johnson seahorse i would appreciate it if someone could tell me how to do a link and sync

The link 'n' synch procedure is slightly different on different models, Forrest.

You would do yourself a big favor by getting an OMC Service manual. That will give you pictures as well as details.
