Link and Sync ?

Can someone please exlpain what Link and Sync Is ?

Does my motor require a link and Sync? 1998 Yamaha TXRW 225 ox 66

what is needed to do the Job?

Why would it need to be done ?

It's simply a procedure to synchronize your carb's opening, required after carb re-building or cleaning, and it is important for your motor to run well. The Yamaha Manual details the Link&Sync, and a forum search will give others. If your motor is running fine now and your carbs don't need re-building or cleaning, then it's nothing to consider at this time. Good Luck!
