Linkage?

Hello All,

Newbie boat guy having issues with 1990 90hp Force OB........

Finally got it running and went to lake to go for a spin and boat would only go maybe 5mph max speed. Friends have mentioned it may possibly be an issue with the linkage. Throttle was put down all the way and nothing happened after the first 10% of its motion downward. Where do you suggest I start?

I'm having kinda the same problem except mine works about 3/4 of the way down and then the rest of the way it seems nothing happens. I think it may be the throttle cable that needs adjustment. Yours may be the same I don't know.
