Just ordered a muffler delete pipe for the '05 Dodge Cummins. After 225,000 miles, I needed to get it a father's day present. If it has a drone at 70 MPH I'll go 80. :p

Neighbors should be "Thrilled"

Check for a potato being stuffed up it if there are any irate ones close by.

1.25 acres is fully fenced and the German Shepard is always patrolling, sometimes he's a PITA. Exhaust should remain open. Nearest neighbor is a bit down the road and he's a gearhead.

I've never done that potato thing to a school bus or bumper shagged from the same. :D

EDIT: Happy Birthday BTW!

OK, It's a diesel truck thing. A Cummins air pump. Not out to impress anyone. The 12 year old boys around here race high performance quads up and down the street. None of us around here have a problem with it.

Nice fish, jigngrub!

Thanks for your comment.

I have it too and its not bad in the cab at all, much quieter then my 7.3 PSD with 5" exhaust, takes a little getting used to but as long as the turbo doesn't spool up its not bad at all, my neighbors don't mind, the key is not spooling the turbo, once that happens its freaking LOUD.

I leave for work at 5 am and putt down the road. I have respect for the wild west hood that I live in. An hour later when I get into Vegas, there isn't much respect and soon they will hear me stomping on it to avoid them cutting me off from the same lane that they are in every day and night that ends in the same place.

Loud pipes save lives! :D

We'd make good neighbors.

Bought an Audi TT a few years ago. Its turbocharged. My thinking is that a turbo is a series of high speed baffles in the exhaust, and that makes it a muffler, so I chopped the muffler off and ran a straight pipe after the cat.
This year I bought a Kawasaki Vulcan 800. It sounded like a moped with the stock pipes, but aftermarket pipes start around $500, so I cut the rear baffles out and gutted the pipes. Its louder now, but not Harley loud.
Also upsized the muffler and went the performance route on my '94 Chevy.
Also cut the second muffler off my old Audi 4000 and just left the resonator muffler.

Havent' figured out how to mod the exhaust on the houseboat yet.... ;)

No they don't. They cause hearing damage.

And drinking too much water can kill you, and breathing too much oxygen can kill you.....

They cause damage at the distance he will be sitting from it. Same with motorcycles. And you better believe I don't have a choice when an obnoxious biker/pickup drive stops next to me in traffic. Local noise ordinances are in place for a reason.

Hobbies/Interests like ours are fun to us. :D When I see others talk about things that I wouldn't care for or do myself, I try to refrain from negative comments. I have gotten much better at it lately.

So Soggy- lots of vacant lots still left on my street. See ya soon!

Only 107.4* for the high today but the humidity at 1:36 PM was 2%...Pizza Oven! I'll take it over 90/90 any day.

I can't imagine trying not to spool the turbo up.

And you need to avoid the Bark when into the throttle and it hits overdrive.

Re: Listen up neighbors, Muffler delete

Installed the delete pipe today and also pulled the turbo cone. Runs and sounds great. To each his own.

I haven't polled the 12 year olds yet to get their opinion jigngrub.
