i fishing out of little river out to atlantic ocean,and anybody can give me a tip how far out and how deep i have to go out to catch snapper and grouper?thanks for any tips.

i put my boat in at sea mountain hwy under swing bridge,and follow waterway to jetti,and i like to go to gulf but it is to far,i think i just hang around 15-20 miles out catch king mackerel,do u have any tip to catch them without use live porgie?thanks,
