Live Well issue and question

Hope Im in the right thread. Ive got a 2011 starcraft starweld with two livewells one in the bow one in the stern. The bow one drains fine but the one on the stern does not like to drain as far as i can tell the lines are clear and they both tie into the same drain line Im baffled, any ideas or suggestions? Also I would like to convert one of the live wells, most likely the rear one into a cooler/ baitwell and was wondering if there were any suggestions on this as well. Thanks for the input

Hmmm, if both wells drain thru the same drain...
Have you tried flushing them with hose pressure?
That might indicate a blockage that could be blown out with the hose.
Far as converting one of the wells to a combo cooler/baitwell, I suggest two courses of action...
1- when you want to use it as a cooler, get some 1-2" thick blue/pink insulation foam and make an insert for the well that you can remove to convert back to baitwell. You can leave the sections as separate pieces for the top, sides and bottom or "glue" the bottom and sides together with some expanding spray foam.
2- Find a pre-made cooler (Coleman/Igloo) that will fit inside the well.
Depends on your cooler space requirements whether or not either of those two ideas will work...
