Live well pump

Did something stupid, was cleaning the boat and I turned on the live well pump and didn't know it and it ran all night out of the water. Went outside this morning and I heard a humming sound coming from the boat, guess what it was. Now for the question " Is it burned out" and if it is can it be rebuilt or do I buy a new one.

Guess it on a trailer? Can you get a hose to it, hold water up against it, where the slots are, and have someone turn it on see if it pumps don't do it for long since it isn't submerged

It should be just fine. their is no contact parts to wear other than it may of ran down the battery a good bit.

Thanks Treker and MH Hawker, I was worried I trashed it. But on the bright side the boat looks great, nice and clean. Good boating to all.
