I check the fuse, it was bad, I replaced it. I'm still not getting any action from my livewell pump, and what's worse, is i'm not sure where it is! up front the hoses go directly into the livewells, so I think the pump is towards the back...? I can't find it. It's a Lund Fisherman 2000 <-- sorry, I hate when people double post, but I'm hoping to use the livewell this weekend and wasn't sure if I'd hear from lund owners soon enough...

its called a aerator and its probably bad but yeah it is in the back should be right behind the fuel tank sitting at very back stick your head in compartment and see if you see the same hose running somewhere....also you might have 2 diff aeorators one for front and one for back just depends

Re: Livewell not pumping water!

OK so there are two entrances and one exit on the livewells ( I didn't buy this boat or really know anything about it, it's my dad's and i'm trying to learn it to help him).

The aerators run out the port and starboard side of the bow whereas what I believe is the livewell pump seems to run from the transom forward. Then, there is the livewell plugs, which also dump out the bottom.

Here is where I am confused. I can't find the pump in the back of the boat. The switch only says aerator. There was never a popping sound, I was surprised to find that the fuse had blown. Because of the draft of the boat the holes for the aerator intake is barely low enough to ever even be in the water.

so where does it actually pump from? The bow/aerators? or the rear?

OK so there is a black filtered nozle inside the livewell connected to a exit on the bow. Is that the overflow? Because it looked vented, i thought it was the aerator, but since all the lunds appear to have the aerator in the back of the boat... maybe this is just overflow that I am seeing..?
