I have a livewell that I don't use and I want to remove it out of my Alum. boat for more room. Removal of the tank is not a problem, but I was wondering how to plug the overflow drain from the side of the boat. I didn't know if they make a plastic overflow spout that is fake that doesn't let water through. You know something to fill the hole in the boat. Any ideas

Re: Livewell removal

Hi! Hey I'm not full of ideas about livewell removal but...what condition is the livewell in? I'm fixing up a bass boat and looking to install a livewell. Maybe the one your taking out isn't very nice - I dont know. Just dont want you to throw away a nice livewell! ;-) If it was nice, the right size, and price - I might be interested.

3M 5200 sealant, rivets?, and aluminum patch round the corners.
