I presented a question on livewells earlier for my purchase of a Cajun bass boat.I failed to include a request about any manaual.
Since Cajun is no longer in manufacture, are there any boats makers that have websites where manual concerning livewells can be either purchesed or downloaded?
I need the generalities. What to check, where to check and how to activate and shut down the livewells system.Thank you.

Re: Livewells in general.

Chances are that there wasnt even a manual on the livewells with the boat when it was new. You just need to look at the plumbing and see how it is hooked up, check your pumps and see if they work, Most good systems will pump fresh water in and overflow it when full, and they may have the option of recurculating the water after you fill it. You may have to insert plugs to keep water in the wells after they are full if there are no valves built in. I prefer to pump fresh water as the water can get really warm in the summer, and you do not want that.
