I have a MerCruiser 350 Mag MPI Bravo 1. When the boat is in neutral, it makes a really load noise. The noise goes away when I shift to forward or reverse. I appreciate your help.
I found the problem. The ignition switch was stuck. When you turn the switch, it was sticking in the full turn position instead of returning to 3/4. I just moved it back after the engine started and the noise went away.
