I know this a difficult question but does anyone know what rims might fit my 85 load rite it's set for a 19' boat and has 15" 5 lug rims if I were to guess they look like poss ford

Re: Load rite question

my 1990 load rite is 5x4.5 lug pattern if thats what your asking. trailer rims are different then car or truck rims, trailer rims usually have a zero offset to were cars and truck have an offset in one direction or the other.
look at this site it may help.

Re: Load rite question

The reason for this post was I got a flat and where I have it stored I need to move it around to work on it thus the need for a spare as it turns out the 5 lug early 80's dodge van stock steel rim is identical and believe me I measured everything and I'm pretty sure the rim I took off is orig. seeing it's galvanized which I will be putting back on but at least I now have a spare.

You'll be fine. Yep that's a standard offset Ford/Dodge/Jeep/some Toyota standard trailer bolt pattern you've got there. The backspacing of the wheel measured from the hub face to inside lip of the rim will be about a 1/4'' greater than when measured to the outer lip which is typical even to trailer wheels. No worries. It's there to prevent bearing chatter and needed to properly load the inner bearing which is a greater diameter than the outer bearing. It's really not a zero offset wheel even for trailers. You'll see positive offset wheels (1/2-1.34")primarily in later model 4X4 applications with the same bolt pattern. Those won't work.
