I think I may have a leak in the hull that is probably under the engine area of my '96 Larson Volvo 3.0 174sei. Would you recommend plugging the boat and filling/adding water? I trailer my boat and I guess I'd just crawl under and look for water leak. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks

If you ck the hull and don't see any bad spots or damage tyo the hull, you probably have a bellows or something in the gimbal plate leaking

dont fill the boat with water, like laddies said, if there is no hull damage, you may have a fitting, or bellows or something. Filling boats with water is more for small aluminum fishing boats. I personally would never intentionally fill a boat with water. Especially one like yours. Bad things begin to happen when that much water gets into a boat. Lift your drive all the way up and look for cracks in the bellows.
