Location of Model and S/N on old Johnson Sea-Horse

I have an old 5 HP Johnson Sea Horse, but need the model and serial numbers to order parts. I can't find them anywhere. Where should I look? If on the decal, I'm hooped! (Hoping JB can help me!). <br /><br />--Leatherjacket

Should be on the transom mount bracket on a rivioted on plate. If the plate is gone then look under the engine cover. On top of the powerhead behind the flywheel you should find a freeze plug. The Serial and model number will be stamped into the plug.<br /><br />Good luck!<br /><br />/Bear
