Location of trim gauge sensor, 90 Evinrude?

Where is the trim gauge sensor on my 1990 Evinrude 90HP engine located? The trim gauge only works<br />correctly when the motor is in certain positions.<br />If its like my alpha I unit then I assume the<br />contacts need cleaning at the sensor.

Hey nash,<br />My '76 sending unit mounts on the port side,inside the engine clamp, up high. Engine must be all the way up. Should be one cable with two wires going to it. Mine has no contacts to clean. It's completely encapsulated.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty
