When I have logged out of I-Boats, and come back to login, there is a number missing from my user name. Tried to re set it, and can't figure out how. I have to add the number each time even though I hit remember me.

And clear any browser cookies with a forums.iboats.com domain. Stored usernames and login info are stored in cookies.

Also if you are using a browser that pops up with a notification about saving usernames and passwords, say yes. If saving passwords is disabled - Enable the feature.

This is a little different if I understand. After you clear the cache, that's when you have to log back in and supply the username?

How are you clearing the cache?

Try not clearing cookies and see if it works.

BTW - You don't have to log out, just close the tab or browser.

That may be part of the problem. If you are logged into iboats and clear the cache and cookies, iboats is still generating cache content and cookies. Try closing the iboats tab(s), then clear the cache.

Or get a free cleaner like CCleaner - It can clear cache while a browsers are offline, In fact a browser can't be open while running CCleaner.
