Lonestar fiberglass serial number... can I ID?

I just bought a lonestar boat from my girlfriends brother and I am trying to ID the model and year of the boat. It's a fiberglass boat about 14 feet 10 inches bow to stern. The serial number is 03714849. I don't have any idea about the year. I appreciate any help I can get. I am about to start a restoration on this hull.

Chrysler bought Lone Star and it is unknown if they kept any old serial number records. As far as I know there is no way to decipher the hull ID number. To me it looks like a 1961 Fleetwood without the windshield. Post more pics please and check out the brochures on fiberglassics web site. Mine has the same type of data plate.

you may get more info from the bow number. great find. i have a 1966 restored sportcrart.

The state registration number can get you in the ballpark IF it is the original number and/or you can get someone at the titling authority to look it up in the archives. More pics please either here or the Lone Star section on the main page, thanks!

I'm slowly plugging away at mine . I plugged the excess and badly filled transom holes with hardwood dowel and 3M 5200. I just got a new 4" grinder for beveling the fiberglass for repairs on the transom, sole to hull joint, deck and console. That'll be a whole day of grinding

right now the boat is registered in il... I live in OK at the moment... I sent an email to ill titling but haven't recieved a reply yet... and from what I gather it's not the original number... it's been bought and sold several times... the motor is a newer 84.. and il doesn't require motor registration so no luck there... just gonna hafta keep watchin the forums and doin homework... thanks for the replies.. Ill post more pics as I get work done
