Ok I have measured my transome. My boat is a v bottom. I got 19. But my question is I am putting a kicker on it and that part of transome where I will put it measured 17. So should I go with long or short shaft. Kicker will be used to get into lakes with how limit. Kicker is 9.9 or lower. I am still shopping for one. But trying to figure this part of it out. Thank you

Many short shafts should work as they are about 16"

You can run a bracket

Guntecw avoid posting in old topics and avoid hijacks of other topics to ask questions about yours.

Moved your question to a new topic of your own.

Sorry I just started this account today. Didn't know know how to go about asking questions. Wasn't trying to disrespect.

Dont be overly concerned, hijacks happen regularly, some by long time members not just new ones. Just asking to avoid it. Thanks

Ask any Mod if you have any questions about how or where to post stuff....

I was thinking the same as Scott: kicker bracket.

have a good upcoming week
