Lookin at getting a 2002 90 hp...

I have found a 2002 90 HP Merc. for $2250. Has 4 blade ss prop, comes with controls and he states it runs good. I have not contacted this individual yet.

I was wondering if you all could help me. Has there been any issues with this type of motor I should be aware of? From what I have seen so far this seems like a good deal. Is it? Any help would be great.

That's a heck of a good price...I have a 1989 that is worth $1800 here in California..They are hard to find...I will buy it if you don't! Keep in mind that these make good pontoon boat motors. They don't like to be driven past their range.. I have friends in the business that nag at me I am pushing mine too hard.. I have in on a 13ft mini boat....Buy IT!
