Got my first boat last year which was a full restore. I would prefer never to do that again. I still have nightmares about fiberglass dust.

I suppose one isn't enough, so I've been prowling craigslist and stumbled across this: Very Smooth Bayliner '89 Sunbridge 2450

Seems a little too good to be true? Probably is. Little info or pictures are provided in the ad which makes me a bit suspicious.

From what I've gathered reading through iBoats is Bayliners of the 80's tend to be rot buckets. What about this style of boat?

Here is the questions I've asked him so far:

What kind of motor/out drive does it have?
How was it maintained?
How does it run?
Compression numbers?
Hours?

How is the interior?
Is the floor solid?
Is the transom solid?
Has the boat always been covered?
Seating/Vinyl condition on outside decks?
What shape is the electrical in?

Still waiting for a response.

I've also requested a lot more pictures of the interior, motor, outside decks, and hull. Do you guys think I've missed anything?

If they are not offering allot of information it means one of two things. 1. they are hiding something. I tend not to think that because most people will try to sell the boat hard if there is an issue they know of. Or 2. The just don't know. Looks like its worth it to check it out. After restoring a boat you know what to look for.

2 grand? Either they're missing a digit or there's something seriously wrong with it

That is what I figured about the price lol. Its either ready to sink or the guy might not know what its worth. I'm not even sure what a boat like this is worth.

Doesn't hurt to check

The thing that usually gives these ads always is the price. $1953? 3 dollars?

I had time to burn while I was at work today so I was just checking out boats in my area and seen this one.

I'm not even sure what the point of posting these ads is? After some digging, its listed all over the country.
