Hi all,

I posted this in the Larson section but figured I would post it here as well looking for some opinions.

Latest boat that I have found to look at is a Larson DC-170 the boat has been owned by the same owner since new. A friend of a friend, older gentleman that meticulously maintains everything he owns. I looked at this boat today and it looks like it just rolled out of the showroom even though it is a 1988. The motor from what I am told is a four cylinder Chevy Merc, (I may have that wrong), with an Alpha one outdrive. I only looked at it briefly as the owner was not home. I will try to get some pics when I look at it again. The boat has been stored in a heated garage, (when not being used), since new. I think this may be one of those rare "barn finds". Any thoughts specific to Larsons. Any idea of fair price range? Obviously I would like to get it for a good price yet I dont want to insult him either.

Sounds like a nice one. I agree with ae77 above, $2500-3k should be fair.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll keep you posted. I honestly cant believe the shape this boat is in. It really does look like it just rolled out of the show room.
