Is that an old model? i think 147cm may be a little bit long for what you need. Its not based on height, just on weight. I'm about 170lb and ride a 138. I would have thought 140/142 would be plenty. With a bigger board you'll come out the water easier and ride higher in the water, but the extra weight will also make it slower/heavier to rotate. Just my 2 cents

Yeah, I agree with Walker600 that a 147cm board is a bit large for you. If I were you, I wouldn't go with anything over 142cm. I'm 175lbs and prefer the 138-140 range.

I am 6'3 235 and ride a 142 some time i ride my buddies 138 but it is a bigger strain to get up on the smaller board, but it reacts very quickly on the water. I ride Watson 142 my buddies is a PS3 buth are great sticks. I can say from riding craigslist crap for a few years, finally sprinkling for the more expensive new model, what a world of difference it is. I rode my old hyper light this summer just to "see" if it was my imagination, its not old boards suck.

Go to a demo day and try a bunch of them and you will see. good luck
