Looked at a boat the other day, was real quick. Jumped in checked it out, no soft floors. Name on it was Craig, (I believe)...was 21 feet long. Had a 188hp inboard Mercrusier. Can purchase for about $1,000 or less. Might not be enough info. But does anyone have any input with this little info? I know he had it on the water last season. So should I snatch it up and go for there...or find more info about it? I was thinking I can't go wrong with that kinda price. Outside and inside looked solid. Thanks, Seibel.

Re: Looking at boat to buy

careful careful careful, In that price range there are a lot of diffeent boats. Power is very important. In other words, water test it. You dont give a year, but I always buy old hulls and replace the motor not more than 1 year later. Hulls last and last, motors dont. What type of boat (bow rider, fishing, cuiser, etc), and what are your tastes? Does the boat match?
