i am having trouble finding a 25-40 hp short shaft with controls. ive been looking everywhere for about a month and it is very rare to come across one within these requirements anything 1990+. any suggestions?

Back in 2008 I had the same problem trying to find a 25hp short shaft remote control motor for my 14' Collins Craft stick steer. I was constantly on ebay and when I found one I would bid on it only to lose out at the last second. I finally had to bid on a long shaft and won it knowing I would have to get a jack plate or transom elevator. Probably will try to build my own jack plate using these plans.
