Re: Looking for a cheap alternative

it a $70 Part. Why on earth would you want a "Cheap" alternative to a critical part like this?

I highly recomend that on something like this, dont go "cheap" to save a mere $30 or $40. Do it right. Just my .02.

Because it's a $70 piece of volvo brand rubber, if anybody else (aftermarket) offers it, the same boot would be $20. I like to keep 50 bucks when I can.

Re: Looking for a cheap alternative

hi boating season is over I am trying to ge my aq to run so ran accross your question.
I didn't like the price either for my bellows but I figured a way. I went to a truck tire store and got an old truck tire inner tube cut it to size rapped it around exhaust pipes and sealed fold on top with silicone and on each end . So far it works and dosen't leak.
