Looking for a good boating spot. <br />I am from SE Minnesota and am looking for a good calm lake to open up my 1979 HydroStream<br />Vector w/115 Merc 6-cyl.<br /><br />The Mississippi is just too rough, (nice backwater spots, but can't safely open it up.) The Zumbro is too short, narrow and crowded. <br /><br />I am looking for a place where like minded boaters with similar boats can open them up and see what they can really do. <br /><br />P.S. <br /> Beaches would be a nice touch so the wife and kids could entertain themselves when not in the boat. <br /><br /> Please drop me a line if you are from the area and/or know of a good spot.<br /> Horrible_Horhay@charter.net <br /><br />
