Then you should have asked for help here I think. You won't find a better bunch of folks willing to help you for free. The post looks as if you just want a dealer and not help. This is not to be meant a mean reply, just an observation. Best of luck!

the "IF" you help me is why i replied the way i did. that infers that they must fix your engine. even if it is unfixable.

Re: looking for a local merc guru?

I have already asked for help on this site and i agree there is a ton of help on this site for free. with that said I can do anything you tell me but if i don't understand what you are talking about dealing with carbs it does not do alot of good to go through the motions . I was hoping that one of the guys from this site might be able to help me if they are local so i might be able to have someone kind of show me about the carbs. and I am looking to compensate who ever CAN help me. the "if" was just making sure the person or people replying know that i was not looking to give them $ if they showed up or i showed up and they knew nothing about MERC's or CARBS. I am sorry if The first post was miss leading.

Yep, try Ed, or we have another excellent Guru a little farther south...but they DO like to get out of the shop with the weather clearing up. You can PM me on the side with the info, and I can pass it on. Him (hes in Mason) and Ed are friends..
